Posting for Executive Director for the Organization of Nurse Executives
Indiana Organization of Nurse Executives (IONE) is seeking a part time Executive Director. The nurse leader selected for this position will provide guidance for the organization, in concert with the IONE Board of Directors. The Indiana Organization of Nurse Executives exists as a forum to foster the free exchange of ideas and information between nursing leaders of today and tomorrow.
Responsibilities include:

  • Overall direction of meeting the organization mission & strategic goal accomplishments
  • Operational & fiscal management
  • Public relations
  • Articulate and communicate the vision, mission and goals of IONE
  • Directs & evaluate IONE programs and services
  • Strategic development and other function consistent with the goals of IONE
  • Represent IONE to external stakeholders & public
  • Coordinate media and public relations in the promotion of IONE mission & goals
Qualifications:
  • Registered nurse with a minimum of a Master’s degree in nursing
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in Indiana
  • Minimum of five years of nurse leader experience consistent with job expectations
We are seeking a candidate who has the ability to interact effectively with a variety of individuals and groups such as leaders in government, the private sector, academia, and health care practice. This position will be an employee of Indiana Hospital Association.
