Membership
Membership in IONE is a personal membership not an institutional membership. Individuals eligible to be members in the
organization shall be:

|
- Registered nurses who hold an organizational role of administration/management who are accountable for strategic, operational
and/or performance outcomes in sites where health care is delivered.
|
|
- Faculty in graduate nursing programs including deans and directors.
|
|
|
- Consultants in nursing administration/management practice.
|
|
|
- Editors of professional nursing journals.
|
|
|
- Leaders in regulatory and other nursing and health care organizations.

Associate Membership
Associate members of IONE shall be Registered Nurses who are:

- Students enrolled in a relevant degree program with career path in nursing administration.
|
|
- Members of the Organization who retire from active employment.
|
|
- Faculty to include Deans and Directors of state approved undergraduate nursing programs.
|
|
| Associates may attend Organization business and education meetings but will not be permitted
to vote in general meetings of the Organization, to vote for officers of the Organization, or to hold Office. |
Dues Membership dues are payable as of January
1 of each year. The annual dues amount is recommended to the membership by the Board of Directors for approval by vote of
the membership. Current dues are $85 (Member) and $45 (Associate). NEW MEMBER – 1st time discounted membership
for 2008 only $50.
Districts The state of Indiana is divided into
10 districts consisting of Northwestern, Northern, Northeastern, Midwestern, Western, Eastern, Central, Central Southwestern,
Southeastern and Southwestern. Boundaries for the districts are determined by the Board of Directors based on input from the
membership. Each district has a representative/president that attends the IONE board meetings.
